114-1 Chatterbox Café Table Master Recruitment

A. Purpose

PUIC is recruiting PU international students to serve as table masters to lead discussions on different topics with domestic students. This activity aims to strengthen students' confidence in speaking English and to promote interaction between domestic and international students.

B. Eligibility

1. All PU international students, but excluding exchange students.

2. International students with outstanding English oral skills.

3. International students with experience in facilitating small group discussions.

4. You must have a valid ARC and working visa.

5. Certificate of TA training course of at least two hours

C. Application Timeline

1. Application: now -Oct 10, 2025

2. Notification of Admission: Oct 15, 2025

D. Procedure for each session

1. In each session, a discussion table will accommodate a table master (i.e., an international student) and 4-5 local students

2. Schedule of discussion sessions: 12:10-13:00 of Oct 27, Oct 29 and Nov 5.

3. Discussion topics will be chosen and announced by the PUIC.

4. Each session will be 60 minutes long, comprising an ice-breaker (10 mins), discussion (40 mins), and wrap-up (10 mins).

E. Compensation

Each table master will receive NT$ 400 per session
